Spring Research

So...I am at work, and we are researching outwear details and silhouettes for Spring. So in order not to induce retail-fatigue, I popped over to Nylon's blog, which led me to this little interwebs gem, which then reminded me of how much I LOVE Rag & Bone. The PRINTs, the COLORs, the TEXTUREs, THE EVERYTHING!

SOMEDAY I WILL OWN YOU. When I somehow invent a machine to take me to an alternate dimension where I am Scrooge-McDucking into my disposable income. But seriously. I feel like I look schleppy. I'm not sure if I actually do look schleppy, but I imagine that I kind of do look schleppy. So I'm making it my personal mission, this quarter at least, to teach myself how to put my general appearance together better.

Midwest Fashion Week

Midwest Fashion week was amazing, despite my sleep depravity being brought on by me finishing up my tailoring the night/morning before. It was probably my most serious-business show yet. There were tons of photographers everywhere and people wearing press passes. I was backstage frantically fitting and obsessively checking the garments before they went out. The models were amazing! Will shot this from his seat in the front row on my phone, but there is a video of the whole show here. The whole thing is about 30 minutes but I am at about the 26:23 (i think...) mark, closin' the show. Ignore me at the end awkwardly doing a "finale walk". Was not into it. I also may need posture lessons?

But anyway, the night ruled, and I'm extremely thankful about being invited to be there. Thanks Indianapolis! Really looking foreword to more shows in the future.
